Best Presentation Award

  • There will be four awards to early career scientists for oral presentations.
  • There will be three awards to early career scientists for poster presentations.


Objective of the Award

  • Recognize and encourage excellence in science and engage early career scientists.


Who is eligible?

A scientist is eligible for the best oral or poster presentation, if:

  • they are less than 35 years old OR less than 5 years post PhD and
  • the presentation is primarily their research and
  • they will present the information


How to apply?

  • Early career scientists are encouraged to be involved and indicate if they wish to be considered for a best presentation award.


Who will decide?

  • Selected members of the symposium scientific steering committee, topic session and workshop conveners, and early career scientist will select oral and poster awards from among the sessions and workshops.


When the Award is announced?

  • The announcements about the Best Presentation Awards are made during the Symposium’s Closing Ceremony on November 11.
