Hotels and apartments in Lisbon are filling up quickly due to a number of other events happening
almost simultaneously with the International Small Pelagic Fish Symposium.
The prices soon will become much higher, and places close to the venue will be full.
SPF symposium participants are urged to take immediate actions on securing their accommodation.

The Scientific Steering Committee has reviewed the workshop proposals submitted by the scientific community and selected the six half-day workshops [Scientific Program] to be held concurrently on November 7, immediately prior to the main 4-day program.

As the symposium has been postponed to November 7–11, 2022, the “Important Dates” set has been revised. The NEW WORKSHOP SUBMISSION DEADLINE is now June 15, 2021.

The symposium has been postponed and will be now held from November 7-11, 2022, at the same venue. The symposium conveners and organizers have taken this decision in the sincere hope that the COVID-19 situation around the globe will have markedly improved by the late autumn of 2022. We do believe that the new dates will allow people from as many countries as possible to travel to Lisbon, Portugal, to meet together at this event.
