Symposium Structure
The Symposium includes pre-Symposium Workshops (April 16, 2023) and a 5-day symposium (April 17-21, 2023) consisting of:
-
Morning Plenary sessions each day to introduce themes of the day’s
concurrent sessions, and an afternoon Plenary on Day 5 to summarize the results and provide wrap-up of the symposium;
-
Concurrent (3-4) theme sessions every day with invited and contributed presentations;
-
Poster session and other events.
While we look forward to seeing as many people as possible in Bergen.
We will hold the
Topic sessions in
hybrid mode.
Scientific sessions will include invited and contributed papers.
Contributed papers will be selected for oral and poster presentations.
During the Topic Sessions, some talks will be given via recorded talks, but authors should be online to provide live answers to audience questions, and remote participants will be able to listen to the sessions and ask questions.
On-line participants will be able to find links to all sessions on the
Whova app. (more information will be provided to registered participants in due course).
The conference will run on the
venue time zone. Authors will be asked to confirm an in-person or virtual presentation after their abstract has been selected and Session Convenors will develop a program that blends in-person and virtual participation. At least one Convenor for each session will be physically at the venue.
Pre-conference
Workshops will be
in-person only.
The
Poster Session
will be an
in-person event, and not an interactive hybrid event, but all posters, including those from people attending virtually, will be made available for viewing online.
