We urge interested participants to

PRE / REGISTER

as early as possible, for planning the Symposium more efficiently.

Pre-registration does not require an immediate payment; however, it will add your record to our database (for Book of Abstracts, Name Tags, etc.).

The Registration Fee applies to the Symposium Sessions and Workshops. Registration is not considered complete until the Registration Fee is received. In order to take advantage of the early registration fee rate, payment must be made before the end of the Early Registration period.

Please note that your registration fee INCLUDES lunch on the Monday to Friday, coffee breaks Sunday (workshop day) to Friday, the Welcome Reception and poster reception. Registration fee does NOT include the Symposium Dinner. More information will be posted on the website about the dinner in due course.

All Workshops are IN-PERSON only.
All Sessions are HYBRID.

Anyone registering after Jan. 20, 2023 who wants to attend in-person will be wait-listed (except for VIPs).

  1. Photocopy of a valid student ID card is required. Please FAX the copy to 1 (250) 363-6827 or e-mail it to Susan Hannah when you pay or attend on-line.
  2. Symposium Convenors, Coordinators, and Invited Speakers are encouraged to pay their registraion fees. E-mail your questions to Saeseul Kim.
  3. Enables accompanying persons of participants to attend all public social events.
  4. ON-LINE participation is FREE ONLY for STUDENTS and PARTICIPANTS FROM DEVELOPING COUNTRIES. All other participants (REGULAR) pay CAD $190.

  • PICES: Fax Payment Form 1 (250) 363-6827 or email it to Saeseul Kim (pdf form can be downloaded from on-line pre/registration area). Manual payment processing. Request Receipt from Saeseul Kim.

  • All credit card transactions are done in Canadian dollars.

Refund Policy:

100% Refund will be given for all requests submitted more than 30 days prior to the first day of the Meeting.

50% Refund will be given for all requests submitted less than 30 days prior to the first day of the Meeting.

0% Refund will be given for all requests submitted on or after the first day of the Meeting.

A non-refundable CAD $50 processing fee for in-person registrants and CAD $25 for on-line registrants will be retained by PICES.
